Consultation on Peak Park Local Plan
The PDNPA is preparing a new Local Plan for the Peak District National Park and would like to hear from all stakeholders including those who live, work or do business in the National Park.  The consultation will run from 9am on 3 November to 5pm on 21 December 2025.  Consultation documents can be viewed here or at locations listed here.

Rural Hardship Fund opens March 31
This scheme is open to anyone in need who lives in rural Derbyshire and has been referred by a recognised advice/support organisation.  The scheme can give support with essential household costs. Applications from individuals on their own behalf cannot be considered. More details here

High Peak Shopping Bus
Bookable door to door shopping bus service to Chapel en le Frith

Energy Rebate Scam Emails
Derbyshire Police have issued a warning to the public about scam emails claiming to be from Ofgem. The emails claim that the recipient is due a rebate payment as part of a government scheme and provide links to follow to apply for the rebate. The links in the emails lead to malicious websites designed to steal personal and financial information. Follow this link for full details.
