Castleton and High Peak W.I
Castleton High Peak W.I meets on the 2nd Monday each month, except August, at 7.30pm. Meetings are now back in Castleton Village Hall. Details of the next month’s meeting will be included, when possible, on the What’s On Calendar.
Our meetings usually include a speaker: topics range from climate change to writing poetry and have covered choral singing and jiving, with audience participation! There is always a break for refreshments, often including home made cake or biscuits. Special occasions like Harvest and Christmas are celebrated with supper provided by members, usually on a ‘bring and share’ basis.
Outings include theatre and cinema visits and trips to places of interest, which have included Lincoln and Wentworth Woodhouse most recently. There are also district and County-wide W.I. events which are supported by members – our quiz team does particularly well!

New members and visitors to the Hope Valley are very welcome to our meetings.
